Diana Kelley Turner, 66, of Riverside, RI passed away after a relatively brief battle with cancer on Sunday, November 26, 2017. Raised in North Dighton, MA, Diana was the daughter of the late Thomas and Elnora (Crowninshield) Kelley. She is survived by her daughter, Jennifer Vieira and her husband Americo of Taunton, MA, her granddaughter Tori Vieira, also of Taunton, and her wonderful guy, Buddy Turner. She is also survived by siblings William Kelley and his wife Sandy of Berkley, MA, Thomas Kelley of North Dighton, MA, and Elizabeth Fischbach and her husband Joseph Fischbach of Rehoboth, MA. She was also close to and loved her wide circle of cousins, nieces, and nephews, along with some wonderful friends. Diana was a graduate of Dighton Rehoboth Regional High School and earned a bachelor’s degree from Roger Williams University. Before she took ill, she was employed by Linear Settlement Services in Middletown, RI. Diana was known for her great cooking, but she also never missed an opportunity to go out to eat with good company. She enjoyed gardening, spending time with family and friends, entertaining, playing cards, watching sports, and traveling. No formal services will be held at this time. A celebration honoring her life will be held in the spring.
